APSAC is a national and global multi-disciplinary professional society dedicated to helping professionals in the child maltreatment field utilize evidence-based practices to prevent child maltreatment as well as to identify and treat child victims and families. The mission of APSAC is to improve society’s response to the abuse and neglect of its children. APSAC envisions a world where all maltreated or at-risk children and their families have access to the highest level of professional commitment and service. Especially important to APSAC, and consistent with the goals of the ACEs Health Champions Network, is the dissemination of state-of-the-art practice in all professional disciplines related to child abuse and neglect.
