Nikki Navarrete
Nikki Navarrete (she/her) is a Program Manager at the Center for Care Innovations (CCI). As a program manager, she supports a range of programs within CCI’s focus areas, including regional and statewide trauma- and resilience-informed care initiatives and innovation initiatives supporting the Colorado safety net. Nikki previously managed a nationwide initiative designed to strengthen adult immunization practices in health centers serving high risk vulnerable populations, and a statewide initiative committed to improving and expanding access to COVID-19 therapeutics.
Prior to becoming a program manager, Nikki worked as a senior program coordinator supporting CCI’s cardiovascular disease prevention programs. Before joining CCI, Nikki worked as a training coordinator at a tech company. Nikki assisted in planning and coordinating weekly training sessions for developers and marketers throughout the United States. She also worked as a health educator for The Food Education Project, a non-profit organization based in San Francisco. During her time as a health educator, she supported curriculum design that taught children and families about health, nutrition, food, and the environment.
Nikki earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health Policy from University of California – Irvine and her Master’s in Public Health from the University of San Francisco. In her free time, Nikki enjoys going to concerts and musicals, being a plant parent, shooting with a film camera, spending time with her husband & dog, and cheering on the Golden State Warriors!
