Fernando Rivero, MPH
Fernando Rivero is a veteran Fire Captain and Paramedic in Salt Lake City. While working on a Master of Public Health degree at Westminster College he became interested in the problems of Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking in Utah. He is a member of the Utah Sexual Violence Council, Salt Lake Sexual Assault Response Team, Utah Coalition Against Sexual Assault and the education committee chair of the Utah Trafficking in Persons Task Force.In addition, Fernando is a member of the Salt Lake City Mayor's, Human Rights Council and an adjunct faculty member at Westminster College.
